About me
I am a Digital Learning Coach entering my third year with NCS. Previously, I served as a high school media specialist and middle school teacher in ELA, Writing, ESOL, and French. I’m passionate about how technology can enhance teaching and learning while maintaining the importance of forming relationships and connections with students. I recently completed my Ed.D. from Kennesaw State University with a focus on social presence in online learning; fun fact: the Bitmoji can do more than just be cute! Outside of work, I’m married to my wonderfully patient husband Mike, and we share our home with our dog, Mr. Magoo and cat, Tacocat (because it's a palindrome). Our son, Charlie, is 19 going on 27 and is still deciding what he wants to be when he grows up. In my free time, I enjoy reading, kayaking, and indulging in all the snacks!
