About me
My name is Tawonna S. Hutchinson, and I am a passionate middle school special education teacher of 10 years with experience in adapted, resource, and co-teaching settings. I currently teach in a self-contained MID/MOID classroom at Indian Creek Middle School where I focus on functional academics, life skills, and creating a supportive environment for every learner. I am also a Registered Behavior Technician and certified Youth Mental Health First Aider.
With a background in customer service and a decade of classroom experience, I believe in the power of relationships, technology, and differentiated instruction to unlock student potential. I enjoy mentoring, presenting, and helping fellow educators feel more confident using digital tools in inclusive and adapted classrooms.
